The Art Association of Harrisburg promotes and encourages the visual arts through art exhibitions and art education. Since 1926, the Art Association has provided a program of cultural excellence for the mid-state region, serving both artists and the community through a wide variety of exhibitions and classes. In addition, in 1989 the AAH spearheaded the concept of the annual Harrisburg Gallery Walk, to promote the city's exhibition sites.

Through an expanding school program, AAH reaches out to the wider community and takes its classes to the inner city while continuing to serve students from many diverse locations. With headquarters in the historic Findlay Mansion at 21 North Front Street along the beautiful Susquehanna River, the Art Association of Harrisburg enriches the cultural climate of the Central Pennsylvania Region in a myriad of ways.
