The AAH is accepting submissions for the 91st Annual International Juried Show.
There is no specific theme. All mediums and styles are encouraged, no matter how traditional or contemporary. This call for entries is open to all local, national, and international artists. Full details and submission instructions can be found below.

All entries and payment are due by March 3rd, 2019.


Conditions of Entry

  • Juried entries are open to all artists in all media
  • Original work only
  • Works previously exhibited at the AAH will not be accepted for entry
  • Medium categories for awards include
    • Oil & Acrylic
    • Watercolor
    • Photography
    • Prints & Graphics
    • Sculpture & Ceramics
    • Other Media (such as mixed media, fiber, jewelry, etc)


Delivery of Accepted Works

  • All cost of shipping or transportation are the responsibility of the artist
  • Works may be hand-delivered or shipped to the AAH
  • Shipped deliveries
    • Accepted artists are responsible for insurance on shipped works
    • Must include return postage or FedEx/UPS prepaid labels
    • Must include reusable packing material



  • Selected works must be ready for professional presentation
  • All two-dimensional works must have screw eyes and wire in place, ready for hanging
  • Works without hanging hardware in place will not be hung
  • Entry in any direction must not exceed 72”
  • All works must be labeled



  • The AAH is considered sole agent during this exhibit, and will receive a donation of 33 1/3 percent of the sale price
  • The same percentage is expected on all sales for orders taken for additional prints during the show
  • Payment to the artist will be made no later than 30 days after the close of the exhibition
  • Works marked “POR” (Price on Request) will not be accepted
  • Works marked “PC” (Private Collection) may be entered

Pick up of Hand Delivered Work

At the close of the show from June 20th – 24th, 2019



  • The AAH will insure all works accepted in to the exhibition only for the duration of the exhibit (May 18th – June 21st, 2018)
  • Entries will be insured for two-thirds the listed sale price with a net maximum of $1,000 per item
  • The AAH will not be responsible for any loss or damage to artwork before its delivery or after its pick-up from the AAH building
  • The AAH will not be responsible for minor scratches or dents to frames, breakage of glass, or scratches to Plexiglas incurred during the run of the show
