Carrie holds her BA in Fine Art from Hood College and her Master's Degree from Temple University.  Prior to employment as President of the Art Association in 1986, she was a freelance artist, instructor, and art writer.  She has held many solo exhibitions of her own oil paintings, and has participated in numerous group and invitational shows.

 

Terrie Tedeschi Hosey, Curator

Terrie Hosey began painting in 1984, studying with well-known Harrisburg expressionist Charles "Li" Hidley. She has received awards for her acrylic paintings in various local and regional exhibitions, and has exhibited her artwork in both solo and group shows.

Randy Miller attended Harrisburg Arts Magnet School from 1993-1997. He earned a degree in Graphic Design from HACC in 2000 and has taught Cartooning classes since 1999.  Randy assumed control of this website in 2003, so please send any comments or suggestions to him via the e-mail link above.

  

Bryan Molloy, Gallery Assistant

Bryan Molloy was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1974 (you do the math!).  He's been drawing and painting since childhood, working in a representational style with a Bostonian Impressionistic influence.  In 1999, Bryan graduated from the Massachusetts College of Art with a BFA in illustation.

 

Brook Lauer, Administrative Assistant

Brook Lauer graduated Cum Laude with Honors from Tyler School of Art and studied in Rome in the Fall of 2004.  Prior to attending Tyler (where she majored in painting and minored in Art History), Brook studied art at Harrisburg Area Community College.  She also has extensive computer and customer service skills, making her an ideal addition to the AAH team.  Brook will begin her MFA studies this month at Academy of Art University online.

 

Julie Dlugolecki, Gallery Assistant

Julie Dlugolecki has been playing with color since she could hold a crayon.  Ten years ago, she traded painting for black and white photography and studied art and cultural anthropology in Rome for 5 months.  After receiving her BA in Fine Arts from Penn State in 2001, Julie has been translating life to visual vibrancy as she paints and photographs the world around her as a freelance artist.
