Synopsis

For 92 years the AAH has been holding a Juried Show, encouraging artists from around the world to enter. The concept is open, and all mediums and styles are welcomed. Each year the accepted work and prize winners are chosen by an esteemed artist, curator or professor of art from a visiting institution. This year’s juror was American Artist Joel Daniel Phillips, the third-place winner of the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery’s Outwin Boochever Portrait Competition in 2016.

Unfortunately, this year we are not able to exhibit the collection of chosen work in house due to the global pandemic. Thank you to all of the artists who submitted work to this year’s Juried Show. Your efforts, patience and understanding have not gone unnoticed. Also, thank you to Joel Daniel Phillips for being generous with his time during this period. We hope you enjoy the show!
