Angela Lapioli rediscovered and redirected her artistic dedication as a fine art painter about eight years ago after taking a local oil and cold wax class. Since then she has been determined and committed to creating works that combine this new personal journey and discovery. The inspirations and strong connections felt while surrounding herself with nature help to start the initial mark-making process. There is strong “growth” imagery throughout her work. This imagery has intrinsically manifested itself and has continued to evolve throughout this new found dedication to becoming a full-time painter. Through experimentation and exploration, Angela finds new and exciting ways to apply oil and cold wax, acrylics, and other dry mediums into her work. Using methods that speak to the process as much as the final image.
