“WOMEN OF THE PERMANENT COLLECTION”
Dates: November 21 – March 27
Synopsis: The Art Association of Harrisburg is pleased to announce a new exhibition: Women of the Permanent Collection. Our assemblage houses a variety of different female artists from the twentieth century, each contributing their own distinctive style and unique perspective to the art world. By re-introducing these works, we pay homage to the women who craft their own narratives, whilst celebrating their artistic achievements.

“FIGURATIVELY SPEAKING”
Dates: January 16 – February 19
Opening Reception: Friday, January 16, 5-8 PM (during Third in the Burg) with music by Free the Tweeds.
Synopsis: This AAH Winter Membership Exhibition is one of our most popular and focuses on the human form in all shades, sizes, and media. Randy Michener is the Exhibition sponsor and Earle Rock will serve as judge.
Intake will occur Monday, December 15 through Sunday, January 11 during regular gallery hours. NOTE: AAH will be closed December 25/26 and January 1, and will close at 4 PM on Dec. 24 and 31.

“A CONTEMPLATIVE DREAM”
Dates: February 23 – March 22
Opening Reception: Friday March 6, 5-8pm
Synopsis: “A Contemplative Dream” features works by artist Surina Slack. Her works often depict surreal fantasy landscapes that reference lucid dreams, witchcraft, psychedelic experiences, and emotional memories luring the audience into a new world.

“A DAY IN THE LIFE”
Dates: February 27 – April 2
Opening Reception: Friday March 20 (during Third in the Burg), 5-8pm
Synopsis: “A Day in the Life” features the work of Sarah Mendez, Mark Dennis, Rebekah Campbell, and Lisa Moore, Curated by AAH Director of Exhibitions Nate Foster, this exhibition blends “slice of life” vignettes with authentic identity exploration through painting and sculpture while aiming to put the viewer in the artists’ world and share experiences.
