CURRENT EXHIBITION
THE EPPLEMAN COLLECTION: A TRIANO FAMILY GIFT
Dates: April 28 – June 22
Synopsis: The AAH first floor galleries will be featuring selected works from the I. William Eppleman collection that are a part of the AAH permanent collection as well as works on loan from the Triano family.
Before moving to Harrisburg, Eppleman practiced architecture with major firms in Philadelphia, Miami, Washington D.C., and New York City where he was associated with architect Edward Durrell Stone in designing the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA).Eppleman was a devout lover and connoisseur of art, collecting in an array of media including literature, music and visual art as well as mid-century modern furniture. Some of his collected works were by well-known artists Käthe Kollwitz, Marc Chagall, Pablo Picasso, and the original 7 Lively Artist members. In 1975, Eppleman’s close friends Dr. and Mrs. Gene Triano generously gifted a portion of Eppleman’s art collection to the AAH’s permanent collection. This exhibit would not be possible without the help of the late Dr. and Mrs. Gene Triano’s daughters Diane Cerminara, Joan Triano, and Karen Golin.
An opening reception is planned for Friday, May 19th, from 5-8pm.

CURRENT EXHIBITION
CORRELATED CULTIVATIONS
Dates: April 28 – June 22
Synopsis: The AAH second floor galleries will be reserved for Correlated Cultivations. a three-artist invitational guest curated by Nate Foster that features the work of Young Won, Earle Rock, and Marina Radanovic.
An opening reception is planned for Friday, May 19th, from 5-8pm.

UPCOMING EXHIBITION
95th ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL JURIED EXHIBITION
Dates: June 30 – August 24
Synopsis: This open-theme show, judged by MOCA Jacksonville senior curator Ylva Rouse, will feature a wide assortment of styles and ideas from artists near and far.
An opening reception is planned for Friday, June 30th from 5-8pm with music by Free the Tweeds.
We are still accepting entries until Thursday, June 8th. Prospective artists can enter their work below.

Fall Membership Show: “Art Is…”

Opening Reception: Gallery Walk Day (Sunday, September 10, 2023) from 12-5 with music by Hemlock Hollow.
Synopsis: What is art to you? What does art mean to you? What is its function or purpose? Therapy? Freedom? Fun? Whichever question you choose, we look forward to seeing your answer.
