"Harrisburg artist Marilyn LaDieu invites viewers to see the world through her eyes, translating fleeting glimpses into vibrant areas of color, shape, and light. Her work offers no hidden meanings— only an alternate way of seeing the earthly realm around us. A graduate of Syracuse University with a BFA in Illustration, Marilyn has painted with acrylics for many years, recently creating smaller plein air pieces during her travels, both near and far. Her subjects range from buildings and landscapes to figures, always with an emphasis on pattern and form.
